This recipe is crazy easy, and the results are crazy delicious. Whenever I cook this dish myself, I’m surprised at how flavorful it is. Who knew marinating chicken in salad dressing could have such good results?
The ingredient proportions below will serve four people comfortably for dinner.
- 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 8-ounce bottle Wish-Bone Italian salad dressing (The choice of salad dressing is key. Only use Wish-Bone.)
Step 1. Prepare the chicken. Cut the breasts into strips about 1 inch wide and 3-4 inches long.
Step 2. Place the chicken in a glass bowl, then pour the entire bottle of salad dressing on top. Mix the two together so all the chicken is completely covered in dressing. There should be enough dressing to completely submerge the chicken.
It’s pretty easy to tell when the chicken is done. When it’s no longer pink in the middle near the skewer, the chicken is ready.
